Surrey Theatre Academy

Surrey Theatre Academy is an inclusive family-run theatre school that has a huge emphasis on fun but also manages to achieve truly excellent professional shows year after year. They hold weekly classes at the Haslemere Hall for children aged 5-18.

Haslemere Musical Society

Haslemere Musical Society (HMS) is an amateur musical society with both a symphony orchestra and chorus. Rehearsals are normally held at 7.30 on Monday evenings from September to May in the Haslemere Hall.

Chiddingfold Golf Club

Chiddingfold Golf Club offers a 12 hole pay and play golf course plus an academy 5-hole short course and a driving range. Everyone is welcome, from complete beginners to star performers with regular taster days and family and junior clinics.

Imagine That Productions

Imagine That Productions (ITP) is a not-for-profit organisation with a mission to bring the opportunity, inspiration, and joy of musical performance to as wide a community as possible. They offer performance opportunities to amateur singers and specialise in classical music, operetta, and music theatre. All events are open to the public and can range in size from performing in small community halls to full-scale theatre productions. They also encourage the development of backstage skills for those who prefer not to tread the boards. ITP has 5 Directors and is aided by many hours of voluntary support.

Arts Society Haslemere

The Arts Society Haslemere have a packed programme of events each year, with monthly lectures, a series of special interest day talks and outings to places of historical and artistic interest. They also have occasional trips abroad. The Annual Member's subscription is £45, which covers all the monthly lectures at Haslemere Hall. Members also receive a copy of The Arts Society Review, a quarterly magazine. They have an annual coffee morning for new members which is a good opportunity to meet each other and the committee. New members can join at any time during the year. There is currently no waiting list for member applications and members can book to attend study days and outings at our monthly lectures in Haslemere Hall. Haslemere U3A

The Haslemere U3A has over 750 members and more than 60 different groups, providing providing a wide range of stimulating activities for all ages and stages in life. The group is not just for retired people so if you are no longer working full-time or busy raising a young family, then this is your chance to develop your interests, make new friends and enjoy yourself! The U3A is about learning, socialising and exercise, both physical and mental. Outdoor activities include walking groups, bird watching, petanque, cycling groups, curling, target shooting and many more. There are also several language groups, a number of lunch clubs (including one on Sundays for solos), bridge groups for different levels of experience including beginners, book groups, wine appreciation, cooking for men, table tennis, dancing, jazz, a ukulele group, world history club and so much more. There really is something for everyone. Membership only costs £10 per year.

Haslemere Players

The Haslemere Players is an amateur theatre company dedicated to staging popular musical theatre productions of the highest possible standard to Haslemere Hall. Their shows regularly win awards of excellence from NODA (the National Operatic and Dramatic Association). Audiences, performers, technicians and production teams come from all over the surrounding area and in the main from within ten miles of the town.

Rotary Club

The Haslemere Rotary Club is a friendly and dynamic club at the heart of our local community.  Where others see problems, Rotary see solutions and take action to create lasting change across the globe, in our communities and in themselves. They are always looking for new members to welcome to Rotary and their mission is to serve the community, make friends and contacts and have fun through volunteering. They meet at Haslewey Community Centre on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7pm. Past events include members and speakers talks, supper evenings, country walks, trips and outings, skittles matches, race nights, visits to their Sister Club in France, Santas Sleigh and many other community and charity supporting events.  Members also meet up on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday at various locations for relaxed social gatherings. All members are welcome to join us at our weekly meetings and help at our events but, there is no commitment.

Tapestry Day Club

Tapestry Day Club is a charity that offers support to people living with dementia and respite to their carers. It is a warm and caring social club where good food can be enjoyed in a safe place allowing friendships to be made. We have a host in the heart of Haslemere.

The Edge Badminton Club

We are a friendly badminton club that play at The Edge Leisure Centre, Woolmer Hill, Haslemere, GU27 1QB.
