Handmade socks are one of life's little pleasures. They can be customised to fit your foot exactly, are relatively quick to knit, are perfect for on the go knitting and make great gifts! This course will take place over 3 sessions with some knitting required in-between. Each session is 2 hours and we will cover different techniques each week as your sock grows. By the end of the course you will have a fully finished sock (or maybe even a pair!)

Week One: Picking your sock size, stretchy cast on, using DPNs and gauge.

Week Two: Reinforced heel flap, short row heel turn and gusset pick up.

Week Three: Toe decreases, kitchener stitch and finishing.

The course will include your printed sock pattern but you will need 2.5mm DPNs (double pointed needles) and 100g of sock yarn. You are welcome to buy these from us on the day or beforehand with a 10% discount! Feel free to bring your own supplies if you wish. The class takes place on Wednesday evening 7pm - 8.30pm, September 18th, 25th and October 2nd. Please make sure you can make all three dates before booking.

Tea, coffee and refreshments will be provided and you will also get a 10% discount on anything you buy in store on the day!
