We announce the launch of the Haslemere Community Fridge on 24th November 2024.

The community fridge will officially open for the first time on Thursday 21 November between 4 and 6 pm. With a primary objective of eliminating food waste. It is open to everyone.

In their first week, they have received lots of surplus, delicious food that needs to be eaten including boxes of Shreddies, Heavenly Hummus and bananas. And lots more!

You can collect any food you like from Green and Blue Studios on the Unicorn Trading Estate, Weydown Road. GU27 1DN. Please note there is NO PARKING on site.

The Community Fridge is open at the following times this week:

Thursday - 4pm - 6pm
Friday - 8am - 3pm
Saturday - 9.30am - 12pm

Or until they run out….

Please come along with your own bag to take what you like from their fridge, freezer and shelves. All they ask is that, if you can afford to do so, you make an honesty donation for the food you have taken, so they can keep supplying. That’s it!
